My Phoenix has somehow disappeared
When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone
Has anybody else seen this?
It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted

Theres your njm install guide. On its day its as good as phoenix. Theres a bit of an issue where theres no sound for about a minute then it comes so just bare with it

try completely closing kodi so its not running in the background and then open it again

I am interested in getting some of this kit, but threads like this one make me think it's all a bit too techy for me. It may as well be in Aramaic for all the sense it makes to me.

Its easy to follow the guides, once you've done it a few times its becomes simpler

I think I should research it rather than be so dismissive. I don't know what Kodi or Pheonix is, why would you need both? Is an Android box like a computer? Am I likely to download tons of stuff that ultimately breaks it?

gank, can be daunting to start with but it does become more familiar after a while, there's plenty of guides on the interweb plus you can buy a device that's already up and running

Kodi is the whole main program, Phoenix is and add on that lets you watch streams

Aha, so Kodi is your operating system of sorts, onto which you can download and run any number of applications which stream films, music and telly. One of these applications which streams live football is Pheonix, and there are others too.
Is this right? I feel like I've had a Eureka moment!

Think of it like this:
Your house is the operating system.
Kodi is your blurray player
Phoenix is a box set disc that you put in your bluray player
